Digital Smart Fresh-Air Purification System

In hospital buildings, to prevent cross-contamination, split-type liquid circulation heat exchanger technology is adopted and paired with digital high-efficiency BC fans that come with RS485, 0–10 V, 4–20 mA, fault-alarm interfaces, and 0–100% stepless automatic speed regulation; these are combined into a digital energy recovery system, comprising a fresh-air unit and an exhaust-air unit.

Digital Smart Fresh-Air Purification System High Energy Efficiency

1. Compared with traditional air-conditioning fresh-air systems, it saves 40%–75% energy.
2. Compared with buildings not equipped with the digital intelligent fresh-air system, it reduces air-conditioner operating time by 15%.
3. During transitional seasons, by fully utilizing outdoor fresh-air resources, a comfortable environment is achieved without turning on the air conditioner — only enhanced ventilation is needed — reducing the use of the air-conditioning system.
4. Because in special places such as hospitals, personnel fluctuate significantly across different time periods of the day and indoor air quality varies considerably, the digital intelligent fresh-air system automatically adjusts the fresh-air volume of each zone based on air-quality data collected at each monitoring point and expels foul air — all without opening windows for ventilation — thereby reducing unnecessary air-conditioning energy consumption.
5. The cross-contamination-free energy recovery system achieves an energy recovery efficiency as high as 62%.

Energy Recovery System

Using the heat exchanger and circulating solution as the heat-transfer medium, the cooling (or heating) capacity in the exhaust air is transferred through the heat exchanger to the circulating solution on the exhaust-air side, lowering (or raising) the solution temperature; the circulation pump then conveys the cooled (or heated) circulating solution to the heat exchanger on the fresh-air side, lowering (or raising) the fresh-air temperature and reducing both the system load and the operating cost of the entire air-conditioning system.

Features of the Energy Recovery System

1. Fresh air and exhaust air are not in the same ventilation system, so no cross-contamination occurs.
2. The fresh-air and exhaust-air systems are not limited by distance, making them more suitable for hospital use.
3. The system configuration is flexible and convenient, not restricted by site conditions.
4. Based on local meteorological conditions, different ratios of energy recovery solution are configured, customized for each customer.
5. The fresh-/exhaust-air energy recovery heat exchanger is designed with computer-aided selection and manufactured with fully automated processing, better meeting diverse customer needs.
6. The surface of the energy recovery heat exchanger is treated with an organic resin coating, providing anti-corrosion and anti-mildew functions, suitable for daily cleaning operations in hospital systems.
